The Billdad is a beaver-like creature found in Maine. The Billdad is described as a mix between a beaver, a kangaroo, and a bird of prey and has been seen by lumberjacks. The Billdad is said to live in swamps with a lot of bugs and when a fish leaps out of the water to eat a bug the Billdad smacks the fish with its tail and stuns it long enough for the Billdad to eat the fish. Billdad meat is said to be very good but it causes insanity and causes people to act like the Billdad once the meat in consumed.
