Every day I wake up wondering if today is the day I'll breakdown or cry.

Now I know why the billing was so fucked up. It's too much work for one person who has other responsibilities. It's too much for one person who has ONLY these responsibilities.

I can't get clinicians to complete things. If a continued stay isn't done correctly, or a treatment plan isn't in place, I can't request services. If I can't get an authorization, the client's services fail. And we have to write off that service. Because MCOs won't "backdate."

New MCOs are being added. So previously fee for service clients are now all of a sudden MCO clients. So I have to track down original assessments and the most recent treatment plan. Chances are, the client's treatment plan has been updated in 90 days. Which is a medicaid requirement. Which means paybacks because it wasn't done.

And if a client is missing an authorization, all their services fail. And I have to figure out if it happened before I came in (YES) and ask the clinician to immediately provide me with a new continued stay/treatment plan. On top of doing assessments and running groups/individual sessions.

I've worked 7 or 8 days straight. I can't keep up anymore. I didn't get a weekend. It doesn't look like I'll get this weekend.

I am tired.
