Stevie Ray Vaughan and Billy Gibbons backstage in Hartford, Connecticut, 1983. This was an incredible year for Texas blues rock. ZZ Top had just released their massive smash hit album Eliminator, while Vaughan exploded onto the scene with his phenomenal debut album with Double Trouble, Texas Flood. Photo by Byron Barr.
