-Calling him Bill just to piss him off 

-The two of you sat at the bar, you drank a beer despite hating the taste of it and Billy was drinking god knows what. The two of you were giggling about a guy's hairstyle at the bar. 

“Goddamn he just needs to shave it off at that point” Billy laughed 

“Now Bill that's not very mature of you” you said desperately trying to hold back laughter. 

“Bill?” He said and poked your shoulder teasingly “Who are you calling Bill shithead” he laughed and began tickling you. Making you spill your drink on him. 

“Oh you're really in for it now baby”

-Let's pretend this man is faithful to you despite past behavior 

-He has such a soft spot for you, he teases you a lot and can lose his temper but he would do anything for you. 

-You and Billy were joking around as you walked back to your apartment, and he accidentally shoved you a little too hard while laughing and you fell over. 

“Ow Billy you ass” you said looking up at him 

He kneeled down to check on you “shit I'm sorry, are you okay baby” 

“I’m okay honey, just a scratch” you smiled and grabbed his tie to pull him in for a kiss. 

-Really protective over you, if he sees someone at the bar making you uncomfortable, he’s there in a second.

“Is this jackass bothering you sugar?” He said, getting in the guy's face who had previously been getting too close to you. 

“Yeah, he is, thanks Billy” you said sweetly.

-Always willing to talk to you about your problems, he's bad at comforting you but he'll crack jokes and hug you until you're laughing with him.

-He learns your favorite songs on the sax and surprises you with playing them.

-Your pet names for each other are not endearing besides the occasional 'honey' or 'baby' it mostly consists of teasing names like 'shithead' or 'asshole'

-He can be kind of an asshole and closed off at times, but he would do anything for you because he really does love you. He's just bad at showing it and regulating his emotions at times.
