OOC: Don’t you think it’s kinda weird that all the superheroes from the 50s had powers that matched their military occupation? Like you’re telling me Torpedo just happened to be in the navy? Cuz I know the regular compound v is supposed to be random.
I think Vought makes their occupation up because remember Soldier Boy wasn't really a soldier. But also I have a theory that all the people who took V1 were mostly from the military or navy (trying to make stronger troops). Soldier Boy happen to be in it because he begged his father.
I love Jensen to death but I hope he gets his beard back after a few episodes of Vought Rising. He looks so much younger with his beard.
Today is Children’s Day,so....
Watched Elio on Disney Plus. I remember seeing it as a preview and wanting to see it but I completely forgot about it. I don't remember any marketing for that movie and I heard Pixar are blaming us for it failing which is funny because they did terrible marketing.
I enjoyed it the movie but it didn't give me the feels like older Pixar movies. I'm not sure how to explain it but I feel like Pixar lost their heart. Elio should've had more time with Glordon. I mean they knew each other for basically 1 day so the movie should've been longer. Also I felt really bad for the clones. What's up with the bean shaped faces in Pixar movies these days like in Luca and Turning Red.
You probably wont like me for this opinion but in the beginning Elio wasn't very likeable. I know he's a kid but he was do rude the that older boy who let him use his ham radio. He's like thanks for the ham radio, you can leave now. He was also very rude to his aunt. Glordon was very likeable. I wish we can more screen time with him.
Overall I get the message and the movie was ok but it doesn't have heart enough to make me watch it again. My opinion, Coco was the last oringal Pixar movie that had so much heart.
The Black Phone 2
Finally watched The Black Phone 2. I liked it. Only complaint I had is that we didn't get to know the 3 ghosts like we got to know the 5 ghosts in the first movie. I already forgot their names. I do get the reason is because they wanted to focus more on Gwen. I'm really happy Armando didn't die because he was such a good person for buying the camp to look for the boys because he promised their parents. Pretty cool we got a to see a little photo of The Grabber when he was younger.
I personally think Season 5 is better than Season 4 even though I hated the last episode. The reason is because of the team actually worked together and interacted way more than they did in Season 4. Would've been better if the Gen V team worked with them.
If wish some people would stop making excuses for the bad writing. V1 isn't JUST an immortal drug because the first ones who took it got powers. So yes Homelander should've became more powerful. Remember when Popclaw took Compound V to enhance her strength? Plus he wasn't like other supes. He was part of the Odessa Project and was injected with Compound V during the blastocyst stage. Compound V became part of his DNA and not just in his blood like other supes. I wish they gave Marie V1 because I think she would've became crazy powerful.
I did think having Homelander stay alive and locked up as a human is the most torturous for him but I do agree with Eric Kripke on one thing. Homelander would still be dangerous because he would just find more Compound V to get his powers back. I would take it further and say even if they lock him up, he would still have loyal followers both supes and humans. I've said this before Homelander should've exposed what Vought did to him because he would've gotten more support and win people's hearts. Also it would've destroyed Vought after he died because at the end of the episode the world only saw Homelander as the only big evil in Vought. That's why Vought was still able to rebuilt and go on.
"What if you and I...well, what if we share a different destiny? Something a little more... scorched earth. Shock and awe. Blood and bone. And in the end, only one of us left standing."
Homelander to Butcher (Season 3 Episode 1)
Do u guys like me as evil or good cuz im flexible
Rewatching the season 1 episode 1 with Hughie and Butcher makes me so sad.
Is this the ending you would like?
I wanted Butcher to beat Homelander but at least let Homelander go on a rampage first.
"But no matter what I do people, some of you people will never accept me into your hearts. Never love me. Never believe in me. And to such heretics I offer oblivion and those who seek to destroy me, you will die the most horrible of deaths as befits your wickedness. My reign will last forever and when this world is cold and dead, I shall remain eternal. God of the ashes."
Homelander 10 minutes before his death
Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy/Benjamin VOUGHT RISING (2027)
We're not gonna see it on screen but since Vought isn't gone, I have a theory the next Homelander is gonna be Teddy Stillwell.
Yes Voguht wouldn't give Homelander any combat training because he was product and the scientists were just testing him when they had him fight adult supes as a child (The Boys Presents: Diabolical). I've posted this a long time ago. Vought wasn't all about teaching Homelander. It was brainwashing. In the deleted scene of young Homelander being "tutored" they had him say stuff like "Baseball's my favorite sport" not America's favorite sport. I bet he never watched a game. He also kept repeating "Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior" which is probably when he became jealous of him.
