I think media needs more ambiguously queer relationships. Not just as in "non-heterosexual", but also as in "the structure of the relationship itself is queer". It goes beyond the bounds of conventional friendship, but they're not fucking about it. Or maybe they are. Maybe they kiss a few times, maybe they don't, but somehow it's not the most queer thing happening here. They've exchanged vows of love, but their actual relationship dynamic is inscrutable. Every orientation headcanon fits well within canon because they're never quite perfectly defined. the way that one of both scott and stiles’ biggest fears is losing the other. stiles equates losing scott to a punishment that’s worth the crime of murdering someone. stiles stepped into the gasoline with scott because if scott’s gonna do this then of course stiles is going to have to go too. scott would have done anything, including giving stiles the bite, if stiles actually had frontotemporal dementia because he can’t lose his best friend. scott did anything and everything he could to save stiles from the nogitsune. and i do think how close the nogitsune came to making them lose stiles played a part in why it was scott’s biggest fear in 6b (obviously not disregarding the allison of it all). it’s always been them since they were kids. and it’s gonna be them forever.

Yes! Bruce Weber, a gay man himself, was famous for his photography that toed the very grey line between masculine and homoerotic. His most famous works and style are probably the Abercrombie & Fitch campaigns in the 90s (you know the ones).

Top Gun director Tony Scott specifically used Bruce Weber’s photography as a baseline for the aesthetic choices of the film

Cruise did agree, however, to meet with Scott and the producers. “He came into the office and Tony showed him this [photography] book that Bruce Weber had done on Americana and these great-looking guys,” says Bruckheimer. “We leafed through the book and Tony said, ‘This is what I want you to look like’ — all these guys in white T-shirts, all handsome.
