I don't care about Watson and Sherlock. I just want to see my children recover and process the trauma they've been through so far in a healthy way

Unpopular opinion? (Can you have one within 24 hours of a show’s release?) I ship Billy and Bea. I want the childhood friends to get together for once

If I see one more person saying that Billy is unimportant character I will fight them behind ASDA. And here is why:

"They never seen anybody as broken as I am"

"That's where you're wrong,son. Don't go around telling people that you're broken. You're still here aren't you?"

And need I remind you that was literally 5 seconds after Billy was ready to rip Leo head off and accused him of being a dabbler and just wanting to sleep with Bae.

At this point of the show Billy still very much dislikes Leo. After he helped him up he wiped his hand for christ sake! (Although that was more of a comedic relief of the scene) But this boy, with marshmallow heart won't let Leopold believe that he is broken. Not even after he learned that Leo had hemophilia which he could use in his advantage. Not after the bodyguard they talked to treated him like shit because he was a commoner and people like Leo always treated him like nothing but a street rat.

He's ready to fight anyone for his family. He told Bea he wouldn't let her go back to the workhouse to which she dismisses him because he cannot fight the entire police. It's get played off as a joke but Billy would most certainly would fight the entire police to get Bae out. When they were confronting the Bird Master he didn't even spare a glance at who should go check on the baby. He heard a girl crying and he rushed to get her.

He wanted to murder and subsequently did a man that was hurting Bea and Jess in the workhouse after he encountered him again.

Bae killed the Tooth Fairy to save him and he must have known that this unprocessed trauma was still there and maybe that was why it was harder for Beatrice to smile around Billy. And even so while he still was in love with her he stepped aside because he saw that Leo was making her laugh. And she deserved something more from life than just surviving. He made up a girl to "give her perimission" to go and be with Leo. Bae doesn't need a permission. When Beatrice caught Billy in a fight he wasn't even phased by the fact he was about to get plummeted by a guy twice his size and weight but he looked pretty scared of Beatrice who found him there because he wasn't supposed to fight. It wasn't about giving her permission or a blessing but to let her know that he will be ok with her being with Leo. Because Bea knew that Billy liked her. She might have disregarded that up until the third episode because they Billy and her were the designated parent of the group but after Jess told her she has two boys fighting for her it must have been clear.

Also on the topic of fighting, Billy said that Jess wasn't doing so well and doctors costs money. He didn't do that because he wanted to earn some money. It was a for Jess.

In the underground he is the one to check on Leo and Spike if they are ok after being trapped in their nightmares. He also doesn't immediately agree to go back even with a busted leg. Bae tells them to "keep each other safe". Leo and Spike primrose that immediately but Billy hesitates. It's not because he doesn't want to but first of all he knows that he cannot do that because he's the one injured (saving Leo's life may I add) and he's the one that had to be taken back to the safety. And he doesn't like that. And he doesn't want to promise that because he cannot keep everyone safe even though he wants to. And he doesn't make empty promises.

Billy is the muscles of the group and he is harsh and quick to judge but he has a big heart so don't you forget about that

I doubt anyone will need that but its canon that Beatrice and Leo are 17. Jessica is probably 15 since Mycroft said the Rip opened previously and at the time Jess was a newborn (I assume Sherlock is unreliable narrator)

I would say that Spike and Billy are of similar age to Bea? We know that Billy was a kid and he met the sisters at the workhouse but was "too little to do anything" about the abuse.

Also I assume that Bea and Jess have a Catholic background since Beatrice still keeps in touch with sister Anna although that might be only because she was supposed to take care of them before they ended up in a workhouse. Spike also seems to be referring 'properly' to sister Anna and it seems like he knew her since in the last episode he talked to her as if he'd knew her. He might have grown up in a orphanage run by nuns since he was never in a workhouse.

Leo I guess is an Anglican? With his mother being the Head of the Church of England and all.

And when it comes to Billy, Vic said that he names him because his mother didn't bother. I think he said he christened him (but I might remember wrong) but I doubt that he actually christened him it was more of a figure of speech as to he named him. But Billy does use a lot of phrases like "Christ" "Jesus Christ" and my personal favourite "what in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene" which, particularly the last one comes more from upbringing than the fact everyone says "Christ" from time to time
