The way she grew distant from Billy after the divorce, makes me think she took her life

Because the person I saw as a mother figure and I considered a "grandma" died about 12 years ago did way more than my own biological parents

That person stood up to my mom whenever she physically hurted me, validated my thoughts and emotions, when my emotionally and psychologically abusive dad didn't and had a new child with other woman. Because I was a problematic neurodivergent kid living in an emotionally unstable household.

Mrs. Nelly was and always will what Billy's mom meant in his life. And right now, I can't help but miss her so much
