Il personaggio della drag queen Billy More nasce nel maggio del 2000, quando Massimo Brancaccio, ex responsabile marketing per una società farmaceutica, incontra Roberto Santini allo Zip, discoteca di Milano. RSDJ gli propone di interpretare in playback i brani eseguiti dal cantante italo canadese John Michael Biancale, che interpreterà tutti i brani del progetto Billy More fino alla prematura morte di Massimo Brancaccio.

Nel mese di Maggio del 2000 viene pubblicato il suo primo singolo, Up & Down. Il brano,ottiene un successo immediato: a Luglio si piazza al numero 1 dei singoli più venduti in Italia.
