I find myself missing Ryan sometimes. Every so often, he'll just cross my mind when I'm not busying myself in this life.

I want to tell him that I don't blame him for what happened. I said something I didn't mean, and if I'm honest, a bit of what I said was me taking out my anger and grief on someone; as awful as I feel for admitting it.

That entire fucking situation was a dumpster fire. If you're even here in this world somewhere, I want you to know that; It wasn't your fault. I know it wasn't. I'm sorry, Ryan. You're a good kid.

oi, i've got some shit to say, so buckle up.

first. god bless m.m. and frenchie and kimiko and especially hughie for putting up with me. give those cunts the nobel peace prize for that (and i mean cunts positively). we felt like a real team after a while and i wish i'd been better to you. it's hard because on one hand i regret a lot of what i did to get to homelander, and on the other... well, whatever it takes, you know? but i should've found a way to get his ass without being a fuckwit to you lot.

to hughie... i'm sorry, lad. i shouldn't have left you in that fucking whale. you're my canary, i should've taken better care of you. i've got no clue why you decided to stick around with me for the soldier boy incident and fuck up even more of your life, but the shit i would've done if you hadn't would have probably been heinous. so i'm glad you did. also, i actually like your weird ass billy joel now, so congrats you little shit, you've rubbed off on me. everything is terrible and life is hell.

also, hughie, if you're out there and you see this by any chance: if you see any more asks on here from me wishing you were here and you don't feel the same, i get it. but you've always meant a lot to me in ways i still don't understand so i'm not gonna stop talking about you. the whole fucking world should know how good you are. but i'll make up some stupid tag if you want to filter this shit out or something. i'm trying to do better by you this time around.
