Tabs Updated

Got tired of the old update tabs I had. I felt that they were too cluttery for my blog, so I changed them. Now when you hover over the three bars in the upper lefthand corner, all of the information pops up instead of having five separate hover bars.

For some reason, my billy player is not working with the new tab code, however, so I’ve removed my autoplay for the time being.

If someone can tell me what would keep my billy player from working, I’d appreciate it?

Problems with dropbox MP3 hotlinks for billyplayer? -- Le Solution

okay - so for those of you who use billyplayer for your blogs, you may have tried to use dropbox hotlinking without success... i certainly did the first time i tried.  so i wrote a tutorial using kiwi6 instead of dropbox as a host - HOWEVER - apparently kiwi6 can be temperamental when it comes to playing from those links.  so - here’s how to fix those pesky hotlinks on dropbox...

make your account and upload your mp3 files as usual - 

click on the ‘share’ link and get the url - 

e.g. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ha72q1c839xaj3e/playlist.MP3?dl=0

now if you try to use this in billyplayer you’ll get an error - all you need to do is edit the link just a little...

delete the first part of your link up to /s/ and replace it with this;

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/

you also need to delete the end so the url ends with ‘MP3′.

e.g. original link - https://www.dropbox.com/s/ha72q1c839xaj3e/playlist.MP3?dl=0 altered link - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/ha72q1c839xaj3e/playlist.MP3

test this by pasting your new link into your browser - you should get a single audio player and your song should play ( click on the altered link to see what you should get ) - if it’s playing, then your hotlink is good to go - so just head on over to billyplayer and throw it into there!

Tutorial: Como colocar billyplayer

Primeiramente, você vai no kiwi6, cria uma conta, vai em upload files e depois clica em browse, você vai escolher a música e quando terminar vai clicar em start upload, quando terminar de carregar você pega seu Direct Hotlink  (é só clicar em "share" no link da sua música)

Vai no billy e coloca o link da sua música e o título nos espaços que estão preenchidos na imagem abaixo.

Você pode utilizar também o dropbox ou o mp3skull. O dropbox você também faz o upload da sua música e no mp3skull você pesquisa.

Quando terminar de preencher todos os quadrinhos, você vai em "Generate Code" e vai copiar o código que o site vai te fornecer.

Pra colocar no theme é fácil, é só você escolher o lugar que quer que o player fique. Normalmente as pessoas deixam antes ou depois da descrição, mas isso depende de você. Depois de colocar o código, você atualiza e vê se deu certo, depois é só salvar e fechar.

So ever since I "conquered" the 10+ Song BillyPlayer monster, I get a lot of questions about how. Well, I'm awful at explaining things, and the BP code isn't exactly written in straightforward terms. So I've tried to streamline the code to make it more accessible and I've included the exact code that I'm currently using for the music player on my blog. If you want to copy, paste and go...hopefully all you'll have to do is replace the links with your own publicly hosted music. 

Disclaimer: BillyPlayer is a finnicky little thing so I make no guarantee that this tutorial will work for everyone. Best of luck though! (And if you need me to clarify anything, I'll do my best!)
