ELISE KNOWS she’s been spending too much time with riley , but she can’t help herself . no one else is taking the time to check in on him . vanessa’s all but given up on him , and the boys she thought riley was closest too seem to have disappeared when he really needed them the most . she drags a hand through her hair as she looks at lucas , her lips slightly parting at his words before she blinks back the tears . “ you .. want to break up with me ? ” she asks quietly , her brows creasing together as she wraps her arms around her middle . “ lucas .. i love you , what are you -- ” she frowns , her brows creasing together a bit more as she swallows . “ what are you talking about ? "

“seriously?” emilia crosses her arms and purses her lips, staring at her friend with arrogance. “don’t be such a baby, ness. it was a joke.” making out with her best friend’s boyfriend indeed was supposed to be a joke, but then emilia never truly knew when she’s taken something too far. vanessa’s the only one who has put up with her for this long for that reason, and until this moment emilia’s taken that for granted–but looking at her now, she can feel guilt twisting into her stomach. but it doesn’t reach the surface.

“i hope you know i can’t stay long,” the woman announced as she breezed past the front door and into his place. “i just didn’t wanna tell you over the phone.” sitting down on the edge of his couch, she motioned for him to sit beside her. “so, i decided i’m keeping it. i’m not expecting you to take responsibility for it, or whatever. i’ve already got all the help i need. i just thought you should know, y’know?”

( BASED ON NETFLIX’S YOU ) yeojin almost chokes on their coffee when the encapsulating individual sitting opposite them mentions their significant other. the same significant other who yeojin has locked up in the attic of the studio they purchased. yeojin knows that they are going to notice that their lover is missing, but they didn’t expect it to be so soon--and they didn’t expect to be sitting right across from them when they noticed it. “really? that’s . . . weird.” their hands rest on the table in front of them momentarily. 

they’re a great liar. they’ve been doing it their whole life. some days it feels like it is the truth that yeojin struggles to express. they have been living this lie for so long they can’t even tell the difference themselves sometimes. “i wonder what’s happened. . .” they sign, and continue after a pause, “is there anything i can do to help?”

CHARLIE’S LAUGHING loudly , her tiny hands pushing against the other male as her eyes roll to the side . “ jesus christ , evan ! this is supposed to be a group photo , and you’re turning it into the evan show ! ” she quips fondly , raising onto the tips of her toes to attempt to get into the photo . it’s a small booth , and charlie’s not the tallest person on the planet . she huffs a bit before she smiles , squeezing her frame between him and the camera just in time to flash it a wide smile . “ ha ! ” she grins , turning on her heels quickly . it didn’t take her too long to notice the lack of space between them , her cheeks flushing softly before she rushes out to grab the film from the side . // @billystcr 3/3

( BASED ON NUMBER 2 ) "don’t act so surprised,” sighs taffy. their arms are crossed, a frown tugging their lips downward. it’s a look they’ve given the other many times--disappointment, and annoyance in its purest form. except this time it’s not because their charge fell down the stairs or tripped over a cord. it’s because they’ve exposed themselves and broke the rules in so doing. “this is your fault.” 

taffy doesn’t know where to go or what to do. their wings are clipped, and they can’t access their home. this clumsy human being is the only thing about this world that taffy knows, and don’t get them wrong, they love said human being to death. “i got kicked out of heaven because of you! so guess what, i’m staying here.” with that, taffy steps through the door, brushing the other out of their way.

–––––––––––––THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT the way he says it that makes her stomach flip and color rises to her cheeks rapidly. “yeah ???” she whispers, looking up at him, immediately needing to just touch him. she tugs at his hands, fingers hooking with his as she pulls him closer, resting her chin on his chest. “i’ve got you too. forever and always.” she hummed, going up on her toes and pressing a soft kiss to his jaw. she was overwhelmed in this moment by the amount of love she had for him. it was so overwhelming she just had to stop and stare at him for awhile.

it was stupid for adriana to think this could work. she knew the the type of person they are, from the beginning. the same type she grew up with, grew used to. she thought, perhaps foolishly, that she could deal with it. she could, because she has for a long time. and yet as any onlooker could predict, she’s had enough of the other’s behavior. and adri’s never been the type to hold back.
