I have no idea why anyone would willingly limit their Love to only one gender. 🤷🏼♂️
A copy of the quote from the book:
Bisexual Pride Flag, 1998.
Designed by Michael Page in order to give #bisexual people a wider sense of community and visibility.
Page said the message of the flag was the idea that purple blends into both the blue and pink in the same way that bisexual people often blend unnoticed into both gay and straight communities. Read more about #prideflags in our #queeringspires #exhibition.

Here is why Bisexual Visibility is important: It took me 40 years to realize I am “bisexual” because of all the gay/straight propaganda we are surrounded by. I thought, “I don’t feel gay, so I must be straight.” But there were occasions when I would be aroused by male sexuality. I chalked it up to having a high libido, a strong sex drive, perhaps I was a sex addict. I lived that way for 40 years. Until one day I was arguing with someone who was against gay marriage, and I paused to reflect on why I was getting so angry. I saw the truth throughout my whole life, since my early childhood, moments when I experienced sexual attraction to men. I couldn’t deny it, I was sexually attracted to men. But I was also attracted to women, and I was in a committed monogamous relationship with a woman whom I loved very much and wanted to spend the rest of my life with. This was the catalyst of years of reflection that has led me to where I am now. (Part 1 of 3) #BiVisibilityDay #BiVisibility #Bi #Bisexual #Bisexuality #BiPride #BiMagic #BiMen
Life is a spectrum. Living in a binary world is stressful for those of us who are not binary. Heteros are sexually attracted to people of the opposite gender. Homos are sexually attracted to people of the same gender. Those in the bisexual spectrum are attracted to a combination of all genders in various and different ways, and each to different degrees. And sometimes it changes. For most bisexuals, we are not 50/50. That is binary hetero/homo thinking. My sexuality is fluid. It changes. It evolves. Often times it is based on the person, not their gender. I wish I lived in a world where there were no labels. Where we each were free to love whomever we wanted without fear. But people are still being killed for who they love. I've been accosted twice on the street for holding the hand of a man I was dating. But I believe with each generation, society is learning to love more. Empathy and kindness grows. We will see a brighter day filled with generosity and love for all.
