4 scenes from the 2001 OVA "Usagi-Chan de Cue!!" adapted from Takashi Sano's Seinen manga of the same name. Mikami Inaba is the school's toughest fighter who undergoes a physical, mental, and behavioral transformation when she merges with Mimika, a classmate's pet rabbit.
Jill St. John as Peggy Dawn, a gullible aspiring actress who's repeatedly sexually coerced, in 1963's Come Blow Your Horn.
"bimbo" actresses
want to make a list of actresses that have played a lot of or are known for playing bimbo roles, while i can still remember. bc a lot of places get it wrong. and im defining "bimbo role" here as both sexual and silly. so Marilyn Monroe is out! she's usually only horny for love.
Jean Harlow
Jayne Mansfield
Melanie Griffith
Juliette Lewis
Maybe Kim Basinger? I need to watch more Kim Basinger movies
ok thats it. actually i wouldnt include jean harlow ive watched like 3/4 of her movies and the only time she was bimbo-esque in so far has been red dust. retracted! okay so next we're gonna mention notable "bimbo" performances...
Barbara Streisand in The Owl and the Pussycat
Jill St. John in Honeymoon Hotel
Judy Holliday in Born Yesterday, an Oscar-winning bimbo performance!
Brittany Murphy in King of the Hill, cause why not include TV shows...
Drea de Matteo - The Sopranos
Katey Sagal in Married with Children? Sure.
Alreen Sorkin in Batman: The Animated Series
alright thats all i can think of rn
Rest in peace to Cynthia Ann Howell, known to the world as porn-star Jesse Jane. She passed away from an apparent drug overdose three days ago, Wednesday, January 24th, 2024, at 43 years old.
i don't think bimbofication, or the bimbo fetish in general, really works without dehumanization. but i also can't see that as something to lament, its a fetish, its not real. i think in the beginning i was worried about wanting to make my fetish look "good" but i really don't care if it does, i'd actually prefer if it didn't, the casual use of "bimbo" is really annoying.
the interesting thing is though, even though i can acknowledge the dehumanization factor -- i can recognize that i need to be able to perceive the woman im sexualizing as stupid, and useless -- i still don't like the dehumanization to go too far. i don't like drones. i don't like dollification. as much as i like to see women being turned into stupid sluts or being able to reduce women to stupid sluts i still want those stupid sluts to have agency, it actually does nothing for me if they don't have agency. its interesting to consider. i need just enough dehumanization to get off, like a recipe.
anyway, i don't think any of this is a problem. but ethics can factor in in a way. because think about it like this. us fetishizers fetishize in different ways. some people care more about the bimbo look than the bimbo personality. some people like the look and don't like the personality. some people just like the personality. some people just like bimbos and not bimbofication... i overshot my examples but my point is. considering the dehumanization factor, considering the fact i've admitted i enjoy the stupidity factor it'd be weird to think of a real person that i know as a bimbo. that doesn't seem like a polite thing to do. is it ethical to sexualize a real person's stupidity? is ethical to think of other living human beings as stupid? i don't have the answers.
