In case there was any confusion...

This blog is not about IRL bimbos or IRL bimbofication. I guess its easy to not realize that if you don't read my posts (and, ironically, I'm relying on people to read this post to realize that...) because I do post pictures of IRL bimbos and talk about this fetish as a whole but...

The truth is, in reality... I actually barely support IRL bimbofication. The transformation itself is hot but I'm not into the BDSM type relationship or the values usually associated with it. Not to mention, if you haven't noticed by now, the push for women to constantly "go bigger" and continuously put themselves in harm's way in IRL bimbo communities... makes me upset, to say the least.

"So what is this blog about?"

Bimbofication and "bimbo" as character, as archetype and cultural figure. In my discussions about what a bimbo is and isn't I'm referring to a fictional character. The bimbo as seen in fetish artwork, media, and erotica. Not real life people (unless stated otherwise).

For example, Pink Bimbo Academy doesn't believe bimbos need to be dumb, which makes sense if you're talking about real life three-dimensional people. I believe bimbos need to be dumb in SOME way because, to me, bimbos don't exist in the real world. There are RL women who possess many of the qualities I associate with bimbdom but they're almost never the type that would self-ID as "bimbo". It's sort of like "camp," once you've named it you've killed it.

It's important to keep in mind that despite the overlap, this is really almost three separate fetishes:

Bimbofication as BDSM - Focus is submission. Can include hypnosis.

Bimbofication as a MC/Transformation fetish - Focus is transformation. Includes writing, art, captions.

Bimbos as Bimbos - Focus is on appearance and not much else. Could mean they love plastic surgery, young blonde women with big tits, or just big tits.

The most overlap is between 1 and 3, while my basis is 2. If your basis is 1 or 3 (or 1 and 3) but you're able to find value in my blog and the things I say, thank you, I appreciate that a lot, just please try to remember my basis is 2.

It's not my preference to talk about high school movies, or high school characters, but it's funny when people act like Karen is the only bimbo character in Mean Girls.

And of course by "funny," I mean absolutely absurd. You think Janis refers to all three of them as the "Plastics" because it sounds cool? It's not particularly subtle. They're pretty popular girls that wear pink and are always made up. "Plastic" undoubtedly refers to plastic surgery or, arguably, Barbie, but both have bimbo connotations either way. Not to mention cultural context. In 2004 (I assume, I wouldn't really know) people like Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, perhaps even Holly Madison would've been on people's mind. The association and intention couldn't be more clear. A few years later Lindsay Lohan would even have a similar reputation of her own, which I honestly can't even begin to parse.

Anyway, back to the Plastics.

Karen is the only one who's salient bimbo trait is stupidity, and despite the incessant ongoing effort to change this, bimbos will always be associated with lack of intelligence, first and foremost, but Regina and Gretchen have salient bimbo traits too. And none of them are particularly bright. Karen is dumber than Regina, but Regina is dumber than Cady. It's all relative. Regina is especially dumb where her salient bimbo trait, vanity, is concerned. She's so desperate to lose weight and be picture perfect thin she blindly trusts Cady about the snack bars and never even considers that possibility someone may have ill-intent towards her. And she thinks she's so infallible that when she actually does gain weight she thinks she'll come out of unscathed, and the her own rules wouldn't also apply to her. Idiocy through hubris.

I think people equate power with intelligence, which goes to show how much about perception this all is, and because Regina is mostly shown either being mean or in control, people fail to clock how she's dumb, or that she could even be dumb.

And speaking of notions of intelligence and power, there's Gretchen, who's salient bimbo trait is eagerness to please. Or desperation. Submissiveness. I just wanted to use "eager to please".

While I can't recall any action or line of dialogue that seemed especially dumb, Gretchen is both the least powerful and most compliant. Weak-willed servile people are very often considered unintelligent, the idea being they can only follow direction and are incapable of thinking for themselves. And Gretchen is always following. Even when she's ousting Regina from the Plastics it's because she's following direction and making an effort to conform. Instead of attempting to seize power for herself in Regina's absence, she follows Cady. When the Plastics break up, she conforms to another group. And I think this sort of empty-headed "follow the leader" act is for some not only the pinnacle of unintelligence, but the pinnacle of "bimbo". That bimbo is submission, and submission is bimbo. I think, for the people more into the BDSM side of this fetish, bimbofication sometimes even intermingles with dollification and dronification. In that sense, Gretchen embodies literal mindlessness. And the idea of bimbos being without personality seems to be a popular sentiment.

Narrowing the scope.

What would you call a non-announcement? This is that. I have no earth-shattering news, nothing important to say. This... is a blog post.

I'm overwhelmed. This project is overwhelming. As you all know, (or maybe don't know... I've gained quite a few followers since then) this began as a personal project. Something I've had a burgeoning interest in for years as someone who's been into this fetish for years, my annoyance at the BimboTok phenomenon (Which is, thankfully, mostly dead now, though residual effects do remain) finally spurring me into action.

And as such, being a personal project, I began this blog as... well, a blog, I guess. To share research I've accumulated and thoughts I had publicly and reach an audience that may be similarly interested or just curious. Had I been keeping up with the times I may have gone for Wordpress or Substack instead. Had I more confidence, YouTube. (Also if I had more confidence I probably would've contacted others by now instead of languishing in the comfort and stagnation of obscurity... but that's a different story, probably.)

Where was I going with this? Oh, yeah, the book. Post-2017 Tumblr may have not been the best place to build an audience but the (lovely) audience I did acquire convinced-influenced-inspired me to write my thoughts, feelings, and research into a book.

Turns out writing a book is hard.

What am I actually doing? What am I actually writing? Sometimes I think I know, I don't. I have no idea. I guess I know what I aspire to write... but there's no way I can. Because writing a book is hard. And I probably have ADHD, amongst several other personal problems. So while I'm still not sure exactly what I'm writing, or what I should and shouldn't cover, I am sure I will have to... "narrow the scope".

Bimbo Types, or Neapolitan Bimbo

(This is something I've previously gone over in my My Little Pony post but wanted to reiterate here.)

Bimbo can most easily be divided into three distinct archetypes. The Clown, The Innocent, and The Debutante. These archetypes are not absolute, they come in many variations and their traits can and will overlap.

The Clown, also known as The Free Spirit or The Wildcard, usually shows up as the comedic relief. They can be loud, showy, excessive, and obnoxious. Their sexuality is very self-assured, self-aware, and playful. The Clown's main concern (if any) is having or spreading fun, "fun" in this context being completely up to their individual style and personality. To give a very stereotypical example, a goth clown may have the most fun watching very violent horror movies or playing with spiders. Another clown could have the most fun (Incidentally) causing a ruckus or being mischievous, it's all about perspective, the possibilities are pretty much endless.

Examples of this archetype include but are not limited to: Jeannie (IDOJ), Pinkie Pie (MLP:FIM), Harley Quinn (BTAS), Synclaire James (Living Single), Jayne Mansfield (films and public persona), Elvira, Mistress of the Dark

The Innocent, also known as The Ingenue, is just as the name suggests. Not only helpless but often unaware and wholly out of her depth. Her inexperience and or meekness makes her prone to being taken advantage of. Despite this, she (usually) remains positive, kind, and happy to help. Unlike The Clown, The Innocent's sexuality is typically portrayed as natural, uncomplicated, and unintended.

Examples of this archetype include but are not limited to: Marilyn Monroe (films and public persona), Weena (The Time Machine), Lorelei Lee (in the novel), Elissa Megan Powers (Empowered)

The Debutante, who could also be called The Alpha Bitch, is probably the most popular in the modern era and who you're most likely to come across in real life or on social media. Her sexuality is mainly a means of control. She puts a lot of time, work, and effort into her appearance because beauty is both her business and capital. While she may, at times, enjoy and indulge in carnal pleasure it's far from her main concern. Being the most or unattainably desirable is how she knows she's better than others, how she's able to acquire and maintain control. The Debutante values social standing above all else, to her it's a matter of life or death, she would die without overwhelmingly positive attention.

Examples of this archetype include but are not limited to: Regina George (Mean Girls), Heather Chandler (Heathers), Courtney Shayne (Jawbreaker), Heather (Total Drama Island), Cleopatra Smith (Clone High), Jeannie II (IDOJ), Emma Frost (X-Men), Panty Anarchy (PSG), Ginger (Gilligan's Island), Holly Golightly (Breakfast at Tiffany's), Kim Kardashian, Rarity (MLP:FIM)

These archetypes are combined, remixed, and subverted so often it's hard to find pure examples (I tried my best, and even then this is just reducing them to their base archetypes and do not accurately describe every single one of these characters), but this is a good thing. It leads to nuance and diversity, and many of the most popular bimbo characters are mixed or subversions. Chrissy Snow (Three's Company) is a Clown and an Innocent. Elle Woods (Legally Blonde) arguably includes elements of all three. Romy and Michele's High School Reunion follows two clownish Innocents who realize they were bullied by debutantes. As far as I know, all bimbos exist somewhere along these lines (or perhaps on an axis) but we shouldn't view this as limiting, when you think about it the combinations are really seemingly endless, and I didn't even cover sub-archetypes! Many Debutantes are mean but they don't have to be. Innocents don't have to be completely pliable, you can do (or be) whatever you like, even moving from one archetype to another.

Thinking it over, I could've probably fit another type in here. Harley is actually more of a mix Clown and what I would maybe call a "Streetwise" type. "Clown" works but I cast a very wide net with it so it could encompass bubbly giggly types, mischievous rapscallion types, and the sort of rambunctious low-class types.

But maybe these could all be considered sub-Clown types. Or "Wildcard" or "Free Spirit" are just better general titles. Or maybe the distinction just doesn't matter. When you google the definition of clown you get "playful," "foolish," and "unsophisticated".

Merriam-Webster even throws in "a rude ill-bred person" and offers "boor" as a synonym.
