We’re delighted to be premiering PLUNGE by Tom Jacobson which opens May 26th as part of the #BiminiTrilogy along with TAR @playwrightsarena and MEXICAN DAY @roguemachinetheatre * * * Playwright Tom Jacobson brings his formal inventiveness and vivid imagination to The Ballad of Bimini Baths, a trilogy of new plays following the ripples of a hushed-up crime across 32 years of LA history. Inspired by real people and events, Jacobson centers his story on the celebrated/notorious bath house that once stood on Bimini Place — just off Vermont Avenue at the end of the Heliotrope streetcar line — to illuminate larger themes of race and identity, individual failings and communal reconciliation in the City of Angels.
