I've been meaning to do a Binärpilot remix for a while now, and I've played around with a few ideas in the past, including a mashup of I Quiet Machine with Dramaphone (by Caravan Palace). That project was lost in the hard drive crash (but it's still here on Tumblr), and so I thought I'd try to do something else with that idea. After working casually on the IQM parts of the song for a while, I figured the next logical step was to throw in a bit of the legendary Tokyomatrix 3000, which I've pretty much always wanted to try to remix.
I'm really proud of the result, and I hope you enjoy dancing to this track as much as I do. Much love to Binärpilot, who inspired me to make music.
First preview of Songs for Alan Turing, Chapter 2 by Norwegian-turned-New Yorkan musician, Binärpilot, was released today. It is blowing my mind.
Hey so I realised I haven't posted any updates recently, so here's a groovy little mashup I made of Dramaphone by Caravan Palace and I Quiet Machine by Binärpilot.
