So I met this person I fell in love with around 5 years ago, and we started dating a month after we met, I really liked them. It didn’t really matter to me what they were. I fell for the person, not the gender. I do not identify with any particular sexuality, but enough about me.
I wish to be able to be more supportive of my boyfriend, and was hoping someone out there might be able to help me out? He is transgender, (FtM). I know next to nothing about how this works, although I’ve tried to educate myself a lot on the subject.
My questions revolve around how to show my undying support of this (he knows I support him, I just want him never to question it.), just small things I can do to help ease the stress. Things I shouldn’t ask, do, ect. Binders I can help purchase, what are the brands and where can I buy? what’s a good vs. bad binder? What should I, as a girlfriend, worry about and do?
I really love my boyfriend, and want him to be happy.
It is a very tough subject for him, and I want to be able to help him through it.
I appreciate every thought, suggestion and tips on the subject.
Maybe someone even have articles on the transitioning? I can’t seem to find any that goes into the depth of it.
Thank you!
