Things I learned after wearing a real binder for the last few months
I hate sports bras. how the hell did I live in these in highschool. they're so tight wtf
the binder I made for my cosplay two years ago? I thought I did great but holy shit. how did I fucking breathe in that thing.
corsets are amazing and incredible and I love wearing them, idc that I have to wear a bra or pull my boobs out, I look sexy and drop dead gorgeous and I love it
bras are the work of the devil
I still don't know how to wash my binder
for the love of god do not exercise in a binder no matter how much you want to or how good about it you feel. I forgot I was wearing my binder and had been previously fine wearing it while walking across campus when I went on a two mile hike and holy fuckin shit it took me out. Couldn't breathe, catching my breath was difficult, sweating buckets despite it being around 60 degrees in the evening and raining and had to stop every few minutes to take a break and try to catch my breath. fully demolished me. Don't do it. No matter what.
take weekend breaks without a binder. Or if you can't and you're comfortable, at least sleep in only a shirt just to give your chest a break. I got roadrash on my shoulder and couldn't sleep with a shirt so I wore a comfortable bra to bed, then binders during the day, at the end of the week it was so uncomfortable. Over the weekends, I'll either throw on a loose bra if I need to go out, or I live in a dorm with a bunch of girls so I'll just let my boobs hang out under an oversized shirt and no one cares. Listen to your body
Stay the fuck hydrated. drink water. its good for you, and a binder can be breathable but it's also hot. drink water.
