Also, I guess let me take this moment to that I've been thinking about you a lot lately but haven't gotten around to actually telling you that and sending you my best wishes because I'm weird and depressed and stuff. (I feel like a shitty friend.)

I'm glad the surgery seems to have been a success, and I'm sorry that life isn't much fun for you right now. I know all too well how lousy it feels to have to sit around all day without any real objective.

But I want you to know that I'm pulling for you, even when I struggle to come out of myself and say it. You're a great, genuine person with a great mind and a strong spirit. You've got this. You really do.

Finally got my laptop and my credit card in the same spot so I could order some books and donate to Sean's Movember campaign!

It ended up being quite worth it. I enjoyed the talk--it was interesting and informative--and I now have 500 pages of pure presidential history for my inner history nerd to enjoy over the summer.
