If you had told Lord Luo, Saint of the Three Realms, that he would have been happily serving a rich young master as some sort of maid a few years ago, he would have laughed himself silly and mercilessly disemboweled you for your insolence. Maybe gutted you like a fish, if he felt generous.

But, yeah. Here he is, waking up early and doing all the cleaning, cooking, and shopping for Shen Yuan, the third son of a merchant family from another universe.

And damn it, Binghe loved it.

Lord Luo absolutely loved being a maid for Shen Yuan. He loved getting head pats, words of indulgence, warm hugs, and a few kisses if he did something really good (and he did that quite often, after all, the protagonist is a super-archiver). It's just... Shen Yuan was so nice. Kind. It was easy to simply... live and be loved. Like he deserved to be an actual person and not just an insatiable monster.

Yes, Luo Binghe is still an insatiable monster, but here he is not just that. Here Binghe didn't need to think about when the next assassination attempt would be, or the next pointless mission to retrieve a super rare artifact, or the next drunken sex that not always was good, or the next political move against him, or the next coup. Lord Luo didn't keep looking over his shoulder. He could rest, close his eyes, take a deep breath, you know? It was refreshing. Good.

Luo Binghe was finally happy. That Crybaby was right, after all.

Oh, the maid uniform is absolutely necessary, Shizun. How can I get rid of the dust without my tights showing, hum? A-Yuan, why are you not looking at me? This Lord needs attention! Are you hungry? This Lord made tea and cake.
