i’ve decided there should be at least ONE fanfic for talamasca where one character is an age regressor and i’ve set my sights on guy today….

yes i am doing an episode 4 rewrite where guy is littol no he will NOT be going to the westcroft- he will be wrapped snug as a bug in a rug at the motherhouse with jasper hand feeding guy mushy strawberries

guy getting stressed out after jasper makes him stay in episode 3 and regressing before bed to help get rid of some of that stress.

jasper immediately dropping all plans to wake guy up suddenly cuz hes walked in to find guy, curls mussed, pillow clutched to his front like a teddy bear and a few fingers stuffed clumsily in his mouth and hes just ever so slightly snoring….

guy waking up little on his own, jasper panicking about what to do with a kid and guy decides for him. grabby hands. up up up.

jasper carrying guy downstairs, placing him on the kitchen counter as he makes some warm milk for guy and makes like five different breakfast foods cuz he has no idea what guy will want- hes got that fresh continental and cooked breakfast buffet for the little guy… haha little *guy*. oh thats totally the nickname he gives guy, that and bambi

idk if im the first in the fandom to think of little! guy but i am certainly exercising my right to think about age regression talamasca shit…

little!guy being really clingyy and always looking a little bit lost- like those kids in stores left at the till with the shopping whilst mum grabs the pasta and theyre watching everything get scanned with growing dread.

he strikes me as a stressed out little tbh- when hes up and big he doesnt let it show and has this bravado that doesnt even shatter wheb hes little it just just doesnt exist at all. hes got his heart on his sleeve and by god is he terrified of getting tomato sauce on his fav shirt.

he also probably doesnt realise he regresses, he watches a kids show when he gets upset or overstimulated and winds down with a childhood bear and a show he watched with his mum, probably buys bright, silly socks and shirts to wear when he feels like that cuz for some reason the souvenir yellow submarine socks he got hanging out with keves make him feel happy and fuzzy

dont even know if anyone else would realise it- most people tend to think ‘trauma response’ before they think ‘age regression’ especially when its not the obvious overt stuff. he probably just looks catatonic and tired, slurring his words and his motor skills flushed straight down the drain.

oh and he telegraphs every thought too, he wants pineapple juice, and doris has him a glass, he beams his need for a blanket straight between jaspers eyes. helen hearing his need for a quiet room and something to watch mindlessly whenever the topic gets difficult or the stakes get higher.

i really wanna elaborate later but my hands hurt from typing now, but let it be known im a little guy anatole truther. for self indulgent purposes

hey so also what about avid hide and seek player little!guy?

him liking to squeeze into the smallest spaces, loves a small pantry especially with the doors that have the magnets so he gets that good click

classic, under the bed hiding spot

queue everyone losing their minds from stress trying to find him. especially jasper who thinks guy climbed into the blender or something. he checks three times

also guy seeking people out easier when regressed, not afraid to wander up with a plushie in hand and in comfy clothes for a cuddle or just some company, he can be quiet if theyre busy or he can babble on if he senses the mood is right

thinking abt the rogues taking care of little barry

len planning fake heists infront of barry and bitty baby going ‘NO!!’ slamming his palms on the map and going ‘nononono!! bad cold! no steal!!’ with the cutest little pout and cold keeps teasing the poor baby

mirror master pulling out funhouse mirrors to make barry laugh, captain boomerang bouncing barry on his knee like a teenie tiny baby. and trickster doing little party clown tricks like the long hankercheif and watering flower stunts

weather wizard making it snow above barry just to watch him coo and try to eat the snow

all the rogues playing cops and robbers, barry sending len to prison and barry and tricks getting into a scuffle whilst the rest break out len.

heatwave picking up barry under the armpits mid babble to take them off to dinner, barry baby talking about the dinner and calling it pasketti…. its spaghetti…. cutieful

golden glider and cold takin little barry off to bed to read him a story, insisting he isnt tired whilst actively falling asleep cuz the warm milk done did him in…

age regressor little wally west headcanons ^^

okay yeah wallys very prone to tantrums as a little- regresses usually around ages 2-4 and his baby glares are LETHAL

ironically enough he gets along best with kyle because when the fab five titans find out theyre so tentative and the wrong side of careful abt it that kyles indifference and tendency to treat kids like mini humans is reassuring (kyle is a flip so he knows whats up) he thinks the way kyle flops next to him on the couch, throws him a look and goes ‘sup DUDE?’ is Hilarious it makes him squeal and laugh every time.

dick thinks it is downright unfair.

wally follows kyle to the point little wally is called kyles shadow- kyle thinks its cute but wally when hes big denies it and says it was all so he could wait for tbe right moment to strike (little wally wants kyle to draw the flash for him)

also little wally loves doing those kid experiments and games like chemistry sets ofc but also he reaaaally digs archeology kits, colouring, puzzle books like mazes and stuff. he needs something to DO. its too easy for him to fall out of headspace if hes got nothing little to do….

loves a cuddle ohhhh hes such a sweetie for that, cant get enough of a snuggle on the couch with his auntie or in his uncles arms, head tucked under barrys chin. loves a team dog pile too and for the sake of my own self indulgence, batman lets little wally lean on his shoulder when hes sleepy and needs a nap

age regressor barry allen headcanons

okay now im convinced barry would be so so polite and quiet /neg, he rarely needs a caretaker (or so he tells himself, he does want one but hes so so scared of the wrong one) so he’ll semi regularly regress at home and do stuff like low effort food, kids tv shows, he has a bluey backpack with his little gear in it (paci, crayons, sketchpad, building blocks, baby blankets ect)

he likely gets found out by batman first tbh- stalker as he is probably finds out via a hidden camera cuz hes a weirdo and bats shows up when barry has an impure regression.

its either him or hal and hal would be the BETTER option cuz bats is a scary guy to bitty baby barry whereas hal is the super cool uncle

also barrys very clingyyyy an hal loves cuddles so they’ll often be seen cuddling snuggling and hal is a flip so he can also regress to have a playdate w barry when hes too scared to have a caretaker around

i also think with barrys rocky childhood that he’d not only be scared of adults in general cuz of the therapy where he was invalidated and police interviews where he was questioned until his tongue was numb, but he’d also be scared of adults trying to be his parents- potential adoptive parents and foster parents (well meaning and terrible alike) made him think not only were they trying to take him away but that his dad didnt want him in the first place

so yeah he sometimes (most of the time) cant do a caretaker unless theyre a big sibby or an uncle or auntie- he’ll call jay and joan gramps and gramma tho (bartisms)

i do think that aside from the caretaker panic that he really doesnt care what people think of his behaviour whilst little cuz he sees it as just coping which it is-

but he’ll just reply to every negative comment with ‘but why? it makes me happy??’

so i do have a vision for other leaguers finding out in a very casual way, GA finding barry with building blocks and after barry babbles about psychology ollie just palms him a toy bow and arrow set and goads him to aim at bruce which makes him giggle

also arthur finding barry and having actually alright experience with kids from atlantis so just picking the boy up asking what hes doing and bounces him on his knee. everyone thinks theyre adorable. OHHHHH ARHUR TAKING BARRY TO THE BEAAACHHHHHH

also VERRYYY AUTISTIC BABY. basically nonverbal but loves a baby babble despite regressing to 5 most of the time- his impure regressions result in a younger age usually 1-3

Jasper taking age regressor Guy grocery shopping just so he can shoo him off to the toy section and catching up with him later, Guy chewing a few fingers looking between a lamb stuffed animal and a sensory book with puppets… Jasper of course indulges and gets both for Guy who hides his face in Jasper’s shoulder… baby boy
