Personality:
Makoto is a strong and independent woman, and is tomboyish in both style and looks no matter how much she grows. She sticks to her firm belief of right and wrong and can’t be swayed. She is stubborn and is difficult to deal with when angered.
While a tomboy, she likes to enjoy girlish things too. She likes cooking and gardening and normally gets flustered when someone compliments either one, or her herself. She’s a hopeless romantic and still waiting for Mr.Right.
Biography:
Makoto never expected her life to turn out the way it did. Even after her parents died when she was young, in a plane crash, she figured her life would still be pretty normal. She stayed with family members until she reached middle school. Then her aunt and uncle got her an apartment to have to herself. Well, she wasn’t completely by herself, they lived right across the hall. But with them gone most of the day for work, it would’ve been the same as her being cooped up in their apartment. She didn’t mind, she wanted to learn how to take care of herself, plus she could raise as many plants as she wanted if she had her own apartment.
Her life took a turn for the strange in middle school, because she was told she was one of the 5 sailor senshi. It took her awhile to get used to the powers and fighting evil part, but she was glad she finally had friends. Most were intimidated by her tall height and crazy strength. These were just attributes she had gotten from being one of these 5 pretty guardians.
The years went on, and it seemed that one evil force after another were after their planet. Still, they all managed to move on with their lives at some point. Makoto had to put her goals on hold for a moment before her uncle had died and her aunt was taking it pretty hard. They moved into the same apartment and she spent a good year after highschool making sure her Aunt had fully recovered before doing anything else.
Now she’s in school once more, following her love for cooking. She’s already graduated with a business degree and now is going back to specialized school so she can become a chef. Her dream is to open her own restaurant. Until then she sometimes helps out at a family friend’s cafe, which is right across the street from the Bloody Ink Bookstore. She goes in there often during breaks to relax.
