Update on my life

Well I took a nap when I got home from work so I won’t be asleep anytime soon, and since I tomorrow is my last day working at my longest job Miramar Speed Circuit, I figured it’s to give you guys that update I talked about before the year started. (Although I think most of my tumblr friends stopped following me a while ago lol)

I think I stopped commenting about my life a little more then a year ago, so lets try to catch up.

School: In Spring of 2015 I took a Photoshop class with a amazing teacher, a rare moment in my life when I got a good grade. In Fall 2015 I took a health class with a teacher who was also great, she also does a gym class that I ended up joining, happy to say that I got an A in the class which is something that almost never happens. (Maybe the first A I’ve had since I started going to community college.)

Home: Shoot I think I was still living with my brother and some friends at a apartment complex last time I talked (Or maybe a little after.) Regardless I’ve been back at my parents house, I took my brothers bigger room and painted it, I honestly love my room with all the neat little things I’ve collected over the years. I would still move out if I had the opportunity but unfortunately I don’t believe that will be happening anytime soon.

Work: Wow where to even start, I will try to make this very brief. Around August this year, I started loosing my touch with Laser Tag, even though I made fun playlists and met many nice new people, I wanted to do more. The most I could do was fix vests, but everyday I saw the arena itself breaking more and more, I wanted to fix it. So I decided to email my Boss (Since I rarely ever saw him enough to talk to him) I just told him that I’m tired of seeing the place get worse, told him a solution to the problem. It was just to give me certain days like Monday when it’s extremely slow to clean and fix everything, that was it, no raise, no complex map, just simply a little more control and time. 2 days later as he was leaving he said “I read your email, I thought it had some good points. disagreed with some, but lets sit down and talk about it. (Fast forward to today, still never talked about it.) So waiting for the day so sit down with my boss, I started loosing hope, 2 weeks later nothing happened, after another week I decided to fix up my resume, still hoping we would sit down and talk. I decided to try the Movie Theater life, I sent out 2 applications, one to the big movie theater we always go to, the other to a movie theater I discovered being remodeled 10 minutes from my house. (The old theater there was a last resort, flat seat, dirty screen place, I was rather surprised of the sudden construction) After a few days I send them both out, the next day I get a email from the new theater, within three days I’m interviewed and hired on the spot. It’s been a lot of fun at this theater, it’s more high class, you can buy expensive food like burgers, the seats are big and can recline back, and the entire management team has given me more support in 4 months then I ever received at Miramar (Even though one manager there always supported me and I’ll miss working with her the most.) Right now I’m working very hard, I might be getting a promotion soon. Now that I am leaving Miramar I was actually offered a new job, from one of my regular customers. Because being completely honest I tried telling her before winter break that I might not be there much longer, I ended up crying because she was one of those customers that always cheered me up to have there, and her 9 year old daughter would beat all the teenage boys which always made me happy. She told me to keep going and reconsider leaving after the holidays, 2 weeks ago she came back and pretty much gave me the job, she just wanted me to try it out in case I was not interested. It’s literally playing soccer with preschoolers. Not even that, it’s like playing a bunch of games and acting very silly to make the kids laugh, I tried it on Wednesday will defiantly do it. Also even though the hours are small the pay is $16 Dollars for each hour so that’s nice.

Hobbys: Well a year and a half ago I picked up a Ukulele, I still have yet to put it down. I know about over 60 songs and I have impressed a lot of people so I must be doing something right. I get lots of compliments and I have a lot of fun. My other hobby is been my Youtube channel Jasons Game Room, I made a tumblr for it too if you would like to help me out.

Well that’s all I can think of right now, I’m trying to take a picture on Instagram everyday so that’s sorta another way to see what I’m up too, it’s Biojason as well.
