The SILK PAVILION. Although this project has no apparent relation with mealworms, I couldn't help but posting it. it does, in fact, show the extent to which human endeavors have been influenced by the work of nature, and, in particular, insects. Since the antiquity (silkworms have been reared for over 5,000 years) humans have observed, exploited and imitated the work of silkworms.
This case in particular represents a rare instances of "collaboration" or, better co-contribution (as collaboration implies agreement from two parties and I am not sure whether the worms have agreed in doing this) of humans/insects to a common project.
