❝ must i pay for my sins? cry for forgiveness? ❞
silco was somebody that akechi respected, one of the reasons being that for all of his careful planning and speeches and fancy words. . . he didn't waste time crying over what had to be done. in a way, perhaps you could say that he looked up to silco, even if he'd be loathe to admit it to the man himself. yet, he wouldn't think silco would wonder much about forgiveness. to him, silco, jinx, sevika. . . they all seemed to simply go forward without much concern for if they would be forgiven in the end. if akechi was honest. . .
" i don't care for forgiveness, we do what we have to because we must, and besides. . . " the boy admits, as he looks up from writing down some plans, to look silco in the eye, " if there is a god to make us pay, then i don't think they care after all." with that, the assassin returns to his scribbled writings. he's frankly content to leave the conversation there, it's a topic he's thought about far too much to himself. on if there was a god taking care of his mother after she died, if there was one that would take venegance on a man he refused to call his father. . . to eventually decide, they never existed at all. that the only way he was going to get what he wanted, was by carving in into the very stone of this city.
My, haven't you just become quite the big dog, now. Sheriff Grayson would be so proud.
She's dreaming , no doubt , a nightmare so carefully constructed by subconscious heavy with guilt . Silco did not frequent her thoughts , did not plague her mind as he seemingly did to Jinx , but he is the root of this ... isn't he ? Without his influence , his poison spewed , there may have been a chance for peace . A chance things may have been prevented .
But her fury does not rest within a dream . Caitlyn's response comes in a hiss , daggers directed to the ghost who dares mock her .
' Do not speak her name as if you've any right . Not after everything you've done . Leave . '
You are my daughter, jinx. Nothing will ever change that.
" WHY?! Why won't ya just... JUST LEAVE ME ALONE! Why can't ya just go AWAY, you're not real!! " Spare parts are tossed towards him half-heartedly as she screams. Clutching her head tight as she backs up against her desk as she gets up it. Her head hurts and her chest aches, it's so hard to breath. It's not him. It's not him. No, it's not. It's not her father.
HER FATHER IS DEAD. THEY BOTH ARE DEAD, DEAD, DEAD.
" I know I'm ya daughter, I'm not ashamed of it. Now leave me the FUCK alone! You're justa 'nother hallucination. 'Nother Fake. 'M tired of this shit, fuck off! FUCK OFF! I'm tired of it, LET ME FUCKIN' REST DAMNIT! Let my father rest brain... he's a real tired man. He's worked... real fuckin' hard and I fucked it all up. I'm a fuck up I know it I know it. Everythin' is my fault. Stop ruining his image... it's all I have left of him. Please... " She whispers to herself, eyes squeezed shut in emotional distress. She can't deal with this, not here. Not now.
