I'm still over here bitter about the lack of Subject Delta (a whole entire protagonist of one of the games) in the Official Fanfic Prequel Novel for the Bioshock games.

Like, there could've been stuff like the first game with a version of the "who are you? CIA or KGB?" video near the beginning of the first game with Andrew Ryan finding him, but all we got was

Stanley Poole: So, this Johnny Topside guy who mysteriously found Rapture in a diving bell? What should we do about him? Andrew Ryan: IDK, keep an eye on him or something?

And then Delta is never brought up again.

Minerva's Den is one of the greatest works of DLC I've ever seen. Like it's basically a mini-standalone game with its own setting, story, characters, plot twist, and themes.

The setting of Rapture Central Computing is brilliant. Each area has a unique feel to it, and it feels like the entire Den really encapsulates the essence of Rapture. The new Splicers are (mostly) fun, the new Big Daddy is awesome, the new weapon is fantastic, the ending always makes my eyes watery because of how like weirdly bittersweet it is.

Fantastic DLC. I dunno if I agree with it being the best thing in the franchise but like it's so good I'm not even overhyping it.
