Adalimumab, trade name Exemptia, is a potent TNF-inhibitor and anti-inflammatory drug manufactured and promoted by Zydus Cadila in India. Adalimumab Biosimilar Dosage is prescribed to people who have Psoriatic and Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Since 2014, India has authorised the usage of Cadila Healthcare. The physicochemical and functional characteristics of this biosimilar adalimumab are a "fingerprint match" to those of the reference medication.
One such completely human immunoglobulin G1 anti-TNF monoclonal antibody, called a "biosimilar of adalimumab," was the first to get US and EU approval for the treatment of moderate-to-severe persistent psoriasis as well as other autoimmune diseases.
Through a prospective, randomised, double-blind, active controlled study in rheumatoid arthritis, reference of biosimilar adalimumab India for clinical effectiveness and safety was established. Reference adalimumab is not yet sold on the Indian market, despite its widespread availability. Consequently, for qualified patients, biosimilar versions provide a convenient and affordable therapy choice.
