“Pshhh, heck yeah! You got that right!” Red eyes flared to life as Jack eagerly agreed with the other villain, voice full of dark passion. Of course, the other’s words were slightly more sinister than Jack would usually condone, but he wasn’t about to show weakness or flinch at the suggestion.

“I find it hard to BELIEVE we haven’t met before. When did you land on the radar as a villain? I’m usually pretty up-to-date with the evil-doers around here. If I’d known ya sooner, I’d probably be a fan.”

Well this was certainly curious. She had seen scientists out in the woods before doing research (at least, she assumed he was a scientist, judging by the white coat) but she had never seen one act so casual in front of such an aggressive animal. The wolverine that the purple-skinned man had approached was snarling out a warning towards him, which would have any normal person back away and keep a fair distance so as not to be mauled. This guy was doing no such thing.

This guy must be crazy, Huntress thought to herself as she continued watching, making no effort to try to assist or hinder the man. The wolverines here have regenerative abilities, even if he wounds it, it’ll just heal. What is this guy thinking?

Jack swiped a hand through the back of his hair as he approached the edifice that was apparently Professor Venomous’ dwelling, or evil hideout, or something. But this place didn’t really look like the residence of a villain at all.

The facade was pretty plain, pretty BORING. But then again, as Jack pictured his mansion, he had a feeling a standard passerby wouldn’t suspect that a villain lived and plotted there, either, making robots and machines of doom and destruction all day.

Maybe this was Venomous’ way of being super incognito. That was WAY cool.

Checking his watch, Jack made sure he was at the correct appointment time and announced his presence by ringing the bell. The Jackbot hovering behind the evil genius accidentally bumped into its master, the metal box in its hands rattling.

“CAREFUL with that,” Jack scolded him. “And we’re the guests here so be on your best behavior! Not like last night!” After his mutterings Jack smoothed his jacket down and waited patiently at the door.
