Omnisexuality
For @lolyouneversawmehere
Now, the first state of affairs is to describe what it is, and address whether or not it is panphobic or biphobic.
Omnisexuality has a lot of overlap with pansexuality, in that, both have a root word that means ‘all’. (omni is derived from Latin, and pan is derived from Greek). However! They are NOT the same. Omnisexual is generally best described as being attracted to more than one gender, same as pansexuality and bisexuality, but unlike pansexuality they are not ‘gender-blind’, and unlike bisexuality omnisexuality is not based in like-same-gender and like-opposite gender attraction(1).
Like bisexuality, many people who are omnisexual may have a preference for a certain gender, or may only appreciate certain characteristics in certain genders.
NOW, does this mean all omnisexual are this way? Absolutely not. It’s different for each person :))
Second, is omnisexual pan/biphobic? No. How could it be? It is simply another label that people identify as. Maybe they chose it because the definition they found fit them the best. Maybe they chose it because the flag was the coolest. But it is in no way pan/biphobic to be omnisexual :)) (as long as you recognize that they Are all unique and valid sexualities, all is well)
(1). Note: Each persons experience with sexuality is different!! Not all pansexuals are ‘gender-blind’ in their attraction, and many bisexual people do not experience attraction for like-same-gender and like-opposite-gender only (that is to say, people who have a similar gender to their own gender, and people who have gender similar to their opposite gender). There is a lot of overlap and similarities in all multisexualities, and many who “better” fit in a different label do not identify with that label. That is for THEM to choose, don’t gatekeep or be phobic.
Hey ffffffuckers
just a reminder bisexuality/people and pansexuality/people can coexist and that they are not mutually exclusive! sexuality cannot be contained in rigid, blocked off labels because everyone's experiences are different! positivity without lables is still positivity, and negativity without lables is still negativity!

when parts of the tumblr wlw community gatekeep bisexual women from using the femme/butch identities, which they helped develop in the sapphic context, but in the same breath turn around and apply the futch scale to canonically bisexual characters, heavily bisexual-coded characters, and even inanimate objects
was does film tumblr and twitter think it’s like a funny meme to call olive byrne lesbian when she’s canonly bisexual
