The Bi+ Equal Conference and Founding Meeting took place in Vilnius, Lithuania with 50 in-person participants from 25 European countries (plus me), with support from the European Commission. I was invited to witness this event & give closing comments.

As someone in the U.S., it's hard to wrap my brain around the idea of being in a space with people from so many different countries -- this is easier for most Europeans. We spent 3 days together & -- at the end -- Bi+ Equal, a pan-European (pun-intended) organization, was established.

It was energizing to connect with bi+ activists (new and old) from across the globe. Our community is powerful, vibrant, and committed to bi+ visibility and inclusion worldwide.
