I’ve had people actually call biracial kids ‘abominations’ on my biracial kids post and you want me to give a shit about hurt white peoples’ feelings because I said biracial mixed with white kids are entirely allowed to complain about white people

I think it says a lot if the only thing you can argue with me about on my biracial kids post is my hyperbolic for effect ‘statistic’ of ‘99% of white people hate their biracial relatives”. 

It also says a lot when you then also want to blame non-white people for a racist system that white people started in the first place. 

and it’s still unfortunate people think biracism is All American. If you think it doesn’t exist in Canada, in the UK, in Eurasia, that’s because you don’t have to notice it.

this disturbing trend of calling biracial people ‘white’ when they’re light skinned really needs to fucking stop. 

Stop saying shit like ‘well they’re so white so they might as well be white’

or

‘yeah but they’re only half poc’

biracial people are POC there is no two ways about that.

and y’all wonder why biracial people end up making their own little communities for other biracial people or they end up hating themselves because they’re told they aren’t poc enough.

Stop pretending that black/white biracial folks are the only ones out there. Stop ignoring the afro-latinxs, the ones who have both asian and white ancestry, the ones who are part middle eastern and white, the ones who are both middle eastern and latin american. Any combo you can think of they fucking exist. 

And stop acting like biracial kids have to be a perfect mixture of their parents. That isn’t how genetics fucking works. Some of us are a deep olive, others are just as black as their black parent, and others are nearly as white as a wedding dress which doesn’t make them white simply white passing. 

Stop making biracial kids hate themselves, hate their skin, hate their hair, hate everything about themselves. Stop telling them which side of themselves they should take pride in. Stop telling them how to identify. Stop telling those who are partially white that they shouldn’t shittalk white people, when 99% of the time the white part of their family hates them. They have every right to shittalk white people.

also where did this idea come from that biracial kids are like the perfect blend of their parents all the time??

Because my niece does’t look like my sister like at all and has olive brown skin and her dad was black whereas her mother is white as a sheet?? Yet probably the only thing my niece got from her mother is the dimples. 

I’ve seen pale ass biracial kids too which brings to mind ‘light does not mean white’ you know... like freddie mercury?? 

Like some of us ARE olive, some of us are pale as shit, some of us can be as dark as one parent over the other, maybe darker? 

This isn’t fucking color theory where if you mix in some white and black u get grey.

Biracial people don’t have to prove SHIT to anyone

Biracial people ARE POC. Whether you want them to be or not. They are not ‘part POC’. They are POC. Full stop. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. 

Bringing to mind the no true scotsman fallacy, there is no such thing as ‘POC enough’. If you think there is, you’re the reason intersectionality doesn’t exist.
