Troutsnow- A proud and serious tom. Troutsnow doesn’t take insults or criticisms well, but rather than outwardly protest any criticism, he will silently dwell on it, and never let on that it bothers him. Despite not liking being criticised himself, he will often criticise Frostpaw, but he only does this as he knows it is the best way for his apprentice to learn and improve, he knows Frostpaw has great potential, and is fond of his apprentice, even if he doesn’t show it often. Although he might seem intimidating at first due to his silent and seemingly gruff nature, he takes care of each of his patients as gently as if they were a newborn kit, and will never discharge a cat unless he is completely certain they have fully recovered, he hates the thought of a cat gaining further injury from his potential failings, 14/10
Frostpaw - An eager and intelligent tom. Frostpaw has always dreamed of becoming a medicine cat, and he does his best to please and impress Troutsnow, and even though his mentor can be slightly harsh at times, Frostpaw knows it’s for the best and he often catches approving glances from Troutsnow, so he knows he is doing well. Frostpaw finds memorising herb uses and locations easy, he’s even come to know some herb patches better than Troutsnow, and although he sometimes gets nervous he’s got something wrong, Troutsnow will tell him not to be so mousebrained, he’s doing great, which never fails to restore Frostpaw’s confidence, he knows that is basically Troutsnow’s way of saying “good job”, 14/10
Rainflare - A determined and extroverted she-cat. Rainflare will never give up on anything she has begun to commit to, she will always see it through to the end, this is especially true when it comes to treating her patients. Rainflare is on friendly terms with many of her clanmates, and considers them her friends, making her all the more determined to help them in their times of need. Although Rainflare can talk your ear off, she will always lend an ear to a cat that needs her, as she knows that a cat’s feelings can hurt them as bad as a physical injury, and she sees it as her duty to help cats in all periods of pain and recovery,15/10
Brichwillow- A wise and gentle tom. Birchwillow is an extremely patient cat, nothing seems to annoy him, and he will never give up on even the longest and hardest of tasks, much to the amazement of his clanmates. Birchwillow has always had a delicate tread, which many warriors speculate is a waste of hunting talent, but it also help’s Birchwillow as a medicine cat, as it helps him apply cobwebs without hurting the cat he is trying to heal. Birchwillow is always ready to lend an ear if a cat needs any advice, and if his advice is followed, it always ends well, 15/10
Smallpaw - An introverted and thoughtful she-cat. Smallpaw doesn’t tend to speak very much as she gets lost in her thoughts, once she becomes focused on something, it is extremely hard to break her concentration, making her an extremely efficient medicine cat, since it is so hard to distract her. Sometimes she can become insecure about her abilities, and begins to make mistakes, but Birchwillow’s gentle guidance always helps her get back on track, 13/10
Whitesplash - An energetic and friendly tom. Whitesplash can get bored easily if he has nothing to do, this has led to him rearranging the medicine den several times, but he has tried to stop that habit since getting Adderpaw as an apprentice as he doesn’t want to confuse her, and having her to train helps give him something to do when no patients are around anyway. He always chats with his patients as long as their wounds are not too life-threatening, as he has found it helps put them at ease and distract them from their pain. Whitesplash doesn’t like the idea of being hostile towards cats just because they are in different clans, so he will friendly greet and talk with any patrols he sees by the border. Whitesplash is a firm believer that the plants found in the riverbed are underused, so he will on occasion dive down to collect some to investigate if any has medicinal properties, 15/10
Adderpaw - A serious and skilful she-cat. Adderpaw has shown a natural skill to being a medicine cat, and she tries her best to work hard in order to be the best medicine cat she can be. Adderpaw does her best to take in everything Whitesplash says, and will often listen in silence in order to try and help her remember everything. Adderpaw hates asking for help, so she often will not ask Whitesplash a question unless she needs to, Whitesplash has realised this so whenever she asks a question, he is always sure to answer in a way that won’t make her feel inadequate or embarrassed, 14/10
