squirrelflight originally wasnt supposed to exist, so the universe kind of. bends around to accommodate her.
basically how this works, is that if she really believes something, it will come true.
ashfur has a small crush on her, but squirrelflight believes that he thinks she is his world
thus, his obsession is born. he basically worships her
and then when she goes back to brambleclaw, he snaps.
he most likely attempts to murder her, but she kills him in self-defense
even though his actions weren’t of his own volition, starclan sends him to the dark forest, because squirrelflight is their chosen one™
chosen for what? even they dont know. but she has powers, so she has to be good and following the will of starclan
squirrelflight really really. hates hawkfrost. she thinks hawkfrost is the devil.
but also hes really dumb so it ends up just being generic cartoon villain LKSAJDF
ofc mothwing knows that this isnt hawkfrost. shes grown up with this loser her entire life, and he is not like this.
she has to start babysitting him like 24/7 to make sure hes not doing something awful
at this point ashfur comes into her dreams and is like
he spills the beans on squirrelflight’s weird powers
so at the next moonpool meeting, she goes over to leafpool and asks her to perform and experiment. idk exactly what it is, but its to test out the powers
the experiment is (unfortunately) successful, and leafpool is like “mothwing what tf is going on”
mothwing, quite frankly, has no idea what tf is going on
so leafpool, mothwing (and hawkfrost) start meeting up to keep them updated on whats going on
“i think we should kill squirrelflight” says hawkfrost, every single time
“no shut up” says mothwing, every single time
firestar makes squirrelflight his deputy (because she believes that he will)
but firestar dies pretty soon after. (no squirrelflight does not kill her dad)
leaving squirrelflight. to become squirrelstar
after this i dont have that that much planned out but
she realizes that the current clan leaders? suck tbh. theyre all awful people
“wouldnt it be so much better for everyone if i were leader of all the clans” says squirrelstar
and then moves on to shadowclan
mothwing warns leopardstar, but she thinks that shadowclan will be fine on its own
leafpool, mothwing, and hawkfrost come to spy on the battle anyways
squirrelstar takes on blackstar. when she loses her first life, thunderclan’s cats look confused and horrified
hawkfrost becomes a normal person briefly
and then squirrelstar wakes up, and thunderclan returns to bloodthirsty
hawkfrost returns to being a not normal person
in the end, squirrestar manages to kill blackstar (he does take out a good chunk of her lives with him) and the a few of the shadowclan cats flee to riverclan. the others are absorbed into thunderclan
mothwing and leafpool realize
the only way to change everything back. is by killing her.
leafpool obv doesnt want to murder her sister tho, so thats like not even on the table
“i told you guys” says hawkfrost
mothwing punches him in the teeth
when squirrelstar and her patrol return to camp, its revealed that sorreltail like. betrayed thunderclan somehow. idk how yet
anyways, she pays for it with her life
leafpool realizes that squirrelflight isnt the sister she grew up with
and theres not a way to fix this
leafpool flees to riverclan
um at this point im not really sure what happens??
anyways in the end mothwing kills squirrelstar (honestly kind of tempted to make it the same way scourge kills tigerstar because. parallels. squirrelstar even has the white foot)
also mothwing/hawkfrost/leafpool are the fire and tiger prophecy. idk how its going to work but.
if u like mothpool then like. idk maybe leafpool gets a surrogate and the 3 are their kids
or if u like hawkleaf then hes the father of the 3. its up 2 u
also i want to make ashfur more relevant but im not sure how? bc he doesnt really get an arc. ill work on this later
