Great Curassow (Crax rubra) from Central/South America! They are Galliformes (one of my favorite orders) which means they are roosting landfowl related to pheasants, turkeys, ptarmigan, etc. Males are black and females come in different color morphs (barred, rufous, and black). They have fun curly crests!

Blue-faced Honeyeater (Entomyzon cyanotis), aka Bananabird, from Australia. They’re quite territorial and have been found to drive away other species of birds.

Rose-breasted Grosbeak (Pheucticus ludovicianus), aka Cutthroat bird, from North America. Like many songbirds, they’re noticeably dimorphic. They sometimes crossbreed with the Black-headed Grosbeak since their ranges overlap. One of the species I get to see in person!!
