Prevention Of Birds, Like Pigeons & Their Ways
Pigeons are a member of the bird family of Columbidae alongwith the doves. This bird family is included within the Columbiforems order of class Aves & kingdom Animalia, which is comprised of almost 300 (three hundred) species of more or less near passerines. Pigeons are birds of chubby body with a small neck and short & slim bills with a fleshy cere. They make nests, of debris like stick, mainly on the trees as homes & depend on the seeds, fruits, & plants for food.
But all with their beauty they sometimes makes people irritated with certain birdy behaviour of their. Big cities like New York or London are very much against the pigeons or any kind of birds to fly around them & would love to do any procedure for getting rid of birds. This nature of people is evoked due to many reasons like for example many birds like the pigeons are carrier of various kinds of diseases. They can be spread in various ways, like direct contact or through the faces of pigeons. It also irritating for anyone that any pigeon faces on their vehicles or any part of their houses or even on them & make them dirty.
Here comes the usefulness of the bird control products. There are many bird control products that are being introduced to the world that helps in preventing birds like the pigeons which may be too dangerous sometimes for a human being.
There are a numerous types or methods of how birds like the pigeons are to keep away from them. Few of the easy ones of them described as below.
Fake Owl Statues: Pigeon like birds are afraid of the natural predators like the owls. This fear can be transformed into a way of bird prevention by making a life-size statue of owl & install it. Though it is a very cost effective process yet there is a disadvantage with this process. The disadvantage is that as the statue is not movable hence the pigeons will soon realize that it is not a real owl.
Pigeon Spikes or Bird Spikes: Pigeon spikes or bird spikes are process of bird prevention in which the roost of any house is installed with needle or spike like structure on them so that the birds may be afraid to sit on them as they might hurt them. This process is both costly as well as its installation may do some damage to the property.
Bird Nets: In this process a net is spread over the area of the total roof top which traps the birds, hence prevents them from sitting on them. But the disadvantage of this process is that, they are not permanent solutions for bird prevention as the birds may peck through the net with the help of their bills.
Though birds like pigeons are a kind of nuisance & a sort of threat to anyone’s valuable properties, yet it is not a tough task of bird prevention from the perimeter of anyone’s property. They can use any of the above procedure to keep them away.
