Send 🔪 to come at my muse with a knife. 

Cole feels exposed without the hat. It’s something of a comfort object, and having it on the table, leaving his neck exposed to a literal knife behind his back- Cole swallows his anxiety. Trust. 

The act itself just feels like a gentle tugging, and then a lightness. Something that was is there no longer. Deft hands make quick work. Before long, it is done. 

Cole runs his fingers through his fringe, then back over his skull and ending where the hair tapers at his neck. He likes the feel of it, all fuzzy where it’s shortest. A glance in the small looking-glass propped on the table and he’s convinced. Shorn short but still him. 

“It’s different, but good. I like it,” he says, a smile touching his face, “Thank you.”

Birdfacedelf has a lot of blogs, and all of them are quality, but none are quite so dear to my heart as Eurydice. She is fierce, practically a force of nature, but also a loving mother. I hope the mod has a great day!
