Yeah, I mean I hope they’ve just not finished polishing things up yet, but even the character animations looked a bit... well, like they’ve decided to try and put a bigger gap in the styles between TES and FO by letting the former be the more ‘realisitic’ one and simplifying Fallout into something more... cartoony? That’s not the right word, but I’m sure you get what I mean.

Probably didn't help that if you left the starting town in NV the "wrong" way, you walked directly into a cloud of cazadores before you even have a real gun. Or Deathclaws, if you took a slight right.

I’m way too cautious (viva la sneak!) to go shooting off from Goodsprings straight away, so they’ve never gotten me right off the bat. But I swear to god, finding the Great Khans is an ordeal every time. Too. Many. Stingy Bugs. D:

I say I'd prefer NV for the mechanics (better gunplay, I don't have to rely on VATS so much) and more quests (too many really xD), but 3 felt much more atmospheric and actually /post-apocalyptic/.

I've honestly never noticed a difference between the combat/gunplay mechanics, but that might be because I play on console? I did like the weathered pistol in NV, though. But yeah definitely, FO3 has a really nice gloomy kind of feel to it. It’s one of those atmospheric things that makes me feel like I’m ‘home’. xD

Yesss, same. It feels like a real connection somehow. And I think it’s why my main LW latched onto Butch so hard and didn’t want any of the other companions - he’s that little piece of home in the Wasteland, no matter how much of an asshole he is.Ahhhhhh feelings. xD

how protective is soery of crow . how hetero is she for him

Soery trusts and respects Crow enough to take care of himself out there but if he comes back beat up you can bet she’s gonna try to take care of him- and what better way to make someone feel better than by taking him to the people/person that roughed him up a little and blowing up their car(s)? And then beating them up.

She’s super hetero for crow and makes sure she buys any new pairs of fingerless gloves for him since she knows he likes collecting them. (Honestly she’ll probably spend time with him whatever his suggestion is- because even if she thinks it’s a waste of time at first seeing Crow hyped up is cute as heck and spending time with him makes her really happy whether it’s beating people up, hotwiring a car, or seeing a movie.)

Soery is totally cool with casual/no relationship needed sex and she’s made that apparent with most of the Saints. She’s probably totally banged Shaundi and Pierce at some point, along with a few others? (Can’t totally answer this bc I’m still only at 2)

Dating wise it’s probably never been brought up- tbh Crow was probably the first person to ask her out once she got back into the Saints.

Soery fears yellow jackets. She’s cool with bees if they leave her alone but yellow jackets are assholes and their stings hurt. Probably any type of wasp honestly.

Things that irritate her are a failure of commitment to a plan (She’s usually understanding since she and Gat’s plans are kinda really awful and dangerous for no reason sometimes but like c’mon you guys you’re part of the Saints just trust us and ram into the bus already)

Rings irritate her too, mostly because she prefers the fingerless gloves she wears and rings get in the way of that.

what's her favourite vehicle to ride ? favourite weapon ? food ? store ? member of the saints ?

She likes driving a cruiser since it was the first car she stole since she got out of prison and the sirens means people move out of the way. (It means she needed someone to pull out the police radio so she could listen to her tunes undisturbed too.)

The T3K Urban is her favorite weapon because it shoots fast and hard (It also means it’s every other Saints’ least liked weapon since Soery is a little trigger happy when it comes to the midst of a brawl.)

Fav food is french fries or pretzels if those count. Fav store is Scratch That, and fav member is all of her lieutenants honestly. She has a list that changes everyday- basically depending on her mood but they’re all up there. She loves em like family but that doesn’t mean she won’t be harsh if she needs to be.
