Zolgensma, a miracle drug developed by Novartis, can save her life with one dose. It is one of the most expensive drugs in the world, and Sofia needs it in the next few months of life to survive. The goal is to raise $25,000 - $50,000 for Sofia as well as awareness of her disease. Through targeted outreach to Novartis executives and public social media campaign, #birdsforsofia, we are hoping that Novartis will bridge the gap between the amount we collectively raise and the full cost of Zolgensma so that she can receive the life saving treatment.
