Memphis was fantastic! Thanks to AirB&B we were able to stay in a room that was just ten minutes from downtown Memphis and 1 minute away from the best BBQ around. Minus the slightly strange monkey statue, our room was cozy and comfortable (yay tempur-pedic mattress!). We had breakfast at a local coffee shop then headed downtown. We didn't have much time to spend downtown but we enjoyed every minute of it. We wondered about Beale street and bought some cheesy souvenirs along with a CD recorded by a local musician, Dr. "Feel good" Potts. Can't wait to go back! Next stop, Arkansas!

Nashville

We were lucky enough to have been able to stop in Nashville for dinner & drinks with two of our favorite people, Brian and Mallorie! We ate delicious burgers at a place called the pharmacy. Jackie had a falafel and goat cheese burger and Katie had an all American cheese burger... with bacon of course. (www.thepharmacynashville.com) Next stop, Memphis!

We had the greatest time at the Jack Daniels distillery! We learned more than we could have ever imagined about the making of whiskey, and our tour guide was fantastic! We even got to sample 3 of the finest whiskies in the land!
