ur 1000% right satosugu+itafushi are not at all similar BUT THEY MAKE MY HEART FEEL the same way.
oh yeah totally, I think it's because you're experiencing the same emotions for both parties. Because assumedly as a reader, we're an omnipresent viewing party so we see that satosugu has these feelings for each other and we feel their desperation, and hopelessness about their relationship. The desperation to have done something different, to have finally let the other one know and the hopelessness of the fact that it's never going to be the same and that they missed their chance.
but with itafushi it's the same desperation and hopelessness but it'd felt before anything has even happened. A desperation to be with each other and to get their fill of the other before something happens to either one of them and the hopelessness of the situation being that in the end megumi won't be able to save itadori. like my mutual @fadinglight123 said on the original post the pair will have done everything 'right' in the end but it still won't have mattered. (y'all should seriously check out their tags on the original post, he hits the nail on the head and it's literally heartbreaking)
