faring from the 1981 hit Super Ixaocan Bros, Qiyana was at best an NPC only seen at the beginning and ending of the game, being abducted and then rescued;
at most, she had a total of five quotes and only two possible outfits, her starting princess dress and a wedding dress at the end;
behind the screen, Qiyana was clearly unhappy and desired for much more than a life of torment then rescue, but she did have the means to tap into her own code and release herself from the shackles of being an NPC;
that is, until Veigar took over Arcadia;
rather than leave her shackled, Veigar provided her with the corrupt battle boss code in exchange for her loyalty, which she eagerly took;
all the Ixaocan Brothers could do was watch in terror as their princess twisted and transformed into something wicked before she turned against them;
that same day, the brothers were pronounced dead, as well as their villains, and Qiyana took the world of her game and made it her own, creating the Qiyanalings and making herself comfortable in the palace;
most would think Qiyana is faithful to her deal with Veigar, but with his power came the accidental ability she has to manipulate code herself, which is how she created her servants and how she is planning to overthrow Veigar, becoming the Final Boss and queen of Arcadia;
though she looks human, Qiyana tends to have monstrous features if her anger is prodded;
resembling a certain iconic villain from her game, now nothing more than dead pixels, Qiyana's code may glitch out and reveal her dragon tail, claws, teeth, horns, scales - a plethora of evidence that she is just as villainous or worse than the dragon who spent their life kidnapping her;
if pressed enough, she might go MEGA - a state in which she might grow larger than her battle boss counterparts and gain two additional health bars, all while her combos gain type effectiveness against arcade players;
though she was not a playable character, it did not take Qiyana longer than a few minutes to tap into her potential and code a weapon out of her old crown before unlocking a fast-paced fighting style that leaves players void of stamina by the time she delivers the final blow;
does step on the Qiyanalings, it is canon in her recall;
assigned the role of throne defender by Veigar - if anyone passes the gate of his castle, it is Qiyana they must deal with;
