ok so i made a rule to just have rodents be the sentient creatures in biriland but then i discovered that moles and shrews arent actually rodents so maybe i might make some exceptions to that rule

rats and mice are still the main focus tho :p

Alright so– rodents are the sentient beings more or less in this world. However I’m gonna have to change some species names just bc i don’t think the words hamsters, guinea pigs, groundhogs(?), etc really work in the setting, but gosh it’s hard to come up with whole other names for things while also having the main focus species be straight up called mice and rats u kno.

Anyway this isn’t really anything, just some rambling. I’ll figure it out eventually haha.

(’Capybara’ could work for capybaras maybe but i think mice would just call them giants? aaaa)

Moons

have i mentioned that the world biriland is set in has three moons bc it does here i’ll come up with their names on the spot, here we go:

-Fela, the gold moon

-Daera, the blue moon

-Ylika, the silver moon

This has been a biriland lore moment thank u

aw man @ my last post about worldbuilding, i forgot cavies are already a thing so ill have to come up with a different name for guinea pigs and redistribute real cavies to a different category (probably giantkind)

Worldbuilding: Sentient Species

I’m probably leaving some out but this is my plan for now! We’ll see what happens uwu, names could be changed later on and all that. :)
