Can the stage bring back what memory takes away? 🎭
This March, at CPH:DOX, is the world premiere of BIRITA. In the heart of the Faroe Islands, a family of artists attempts the impossible: staging Shakespeare’s King Lear with their matriarch, celebrated actress Birita Mohr, in the lead role as she lives with Alzheimer’s.
It’s a story of legacy, a son’s devotion, and the enduring power of the spotlight. 🌟
📍 World Premiere: Sunday, March 15 @ 16:15 (Dagmar 2) 📅 Other Screenings: March 17 & 18
