FINALLY after months and months and months landlocked in the Lomonds I got down to the coast last weekend. On Friday, the Tay. Saturday, the Forth. Two very different but glorious sides of Fife :) So nice to get some pungent seaweedy air again after all this time.

I paid a visit to one of my favourite trees yesterday afternoon. A massive, many-limbed beech.......but it's always with a sense of trepidation that I stand under big old beeches like that, because the older specimens are known for dropping limbs without warning :-o
