Yeah, the Birmanian Cat it’s not japanese (I say this bc Hinomoto it’s a Japan-based country), and also, I was very close to chose the Siamese Cat, but no. The Birmanian Cat has its origins in the birmanian temples, and it was considered as a sacred animal. There’s a legend that says that one day, some bandits hurted a monk while he was praying, and a yellow eyed cat jumped next to the dying monk in concern. That act make its eyes blue and its paws white.
Do I need to explain?
The Gragon Li (also called Chinese Li Hua) or lí huā māo, literally 'fox flower cat', it’s the central theme of The Chinese literary legend "The Cat for Crown Prince Conspiracy" (狸貓換太子 Lí Māo Huàn Tài Zĭ). Idk why but I associate dragons with Zeus, and also the fact that this wild natured cat has such gorgeous name reminds me of how Zeus doesn’t look like coming from a noble family.
Actually I was searching for a pink-fur cat picture, just to joke around, and I found out that there’s a type of fur color, named as ”red cameo”, that gives a pinkish color. And then I found this cat, named Iacobus, that comes from a special breeding project.
Bastet was originally a fierce lioness warrior goddess of the sun worshiped throughout most of ancient Egyptian history, but later she was changed into the cat goddess that is familiar today, becoming Bastet. As protector of Lower Egypt, Bastet was seen as defender of the king, and consequently of the sun god, Ra. And among the countless breeds of cats, no other but the Mau can claim direct descent from the divine felines of the Nile Valley. So, serving the royalty, defender of the Sun, changed forms… It’s Caesar.
I think that this fiery looking big cat suits perfectly for that strong boi.
