A drawing/collage on Birth Asphyxia and Cerebral Hypoxia! 🫁
nothingggg is beating this, this stuff felt like coming up for air after being underwater, omgggg
My lungs reached nirvana with this, this and actual oxygen tanks- omg, I think I first used this when I got pneumonia as a kid? And it was sooo effective, blissed out and breathed so nice, and it’s not even chemically addictive (I think pls fact check me my sources contradicted eachother). It was like the opposite of a cigarette in the best way possible
Had an inhaler too but don’t remember using it, just know I did below age 10. And omg, aerosol therapy with specifically this mask:
THIS MASSSK all the respiratory issue kids had this thing!! Idk if I used it just at the hospital or with the at-home treatments, i last used this at maybe 11 or 12
The smell is so specific it’s really nice!
My respiratory symptoms improved so much in adulthood that I don’t think I need these anymore, beyond still having really horrible allergies. My lungs long for the mist 💨💨
Birth Asphyxia
Birth asphyxia is defined as insufficient oxygen supply to a baby at or around the time of birth. Around 25% of the 4 million annual global neonatal deaths are attributable to birth asphyxia.
A stock or some other security speaking to a possession intrigue. On an organization’s accounting report, the measure of the assets contributed by the proprietors (the investors) in addition to the held income (or misfortunes).
An Overview of Birth Asphyxia
Perinatal asphyxia, commonly called birth asphyxia, is a type of birth injury that occurs when a baby is being deprived of oxygen. A lack of oxygen at birth is one of the most prominent factors in brain injuries at birth. When a brain is deprived of oxygen, brain cells begin to die and become waste. This waste, which is acidic, builds up and can cause permanent damage. This type of injury may even go unnoticed at first, which makes it all the more dangerous.
Causes of Birth Asphyxia
Some of the factors known to increase the risk of birth asphyxia are as follows:
Low oxygen in the mother’s blood prior to birth
Mother’s abnormal blood pressure
Umbilical cord issues
Serious infection in the baby or the mother
Difficult delivery of the baby
The baby’s airway is blocked or not developed properly
Anemia
Signs and Diagnosis of Birth Asphyxia
There are a number of signs that your baby may have suffered from asphyxia at birth including:
Weak breathing
Low heart rate
Pale or blueish skin color
Muscle weakness
Slowed reflexes
Seizures
Acid in the blood (acidosis)
