so when my mom asked me what I wanted for my birthday a month ago I said I was trying to save up for a Switch and all I wanted was a little money to put towards my Switch fund

so when I got to my parents house this evening so we could go out to dinner together she hands me an envelope and says "your present is in there!" and I open it and see this

THE ABSOLUTE MAD WOMAN WENT AND PREORDERED THE SPECIAL PIKAVEE VERSION OF THE SWITCH T0T

I legit almost started crying I absolutely did not mean for her to nor expect her to just outright get it for me ;______; she was like "to be fair this is gonna be half your Christmas presents too" (which is MORE than fair) but STILL T______T

(I know it doesn't look fancy but it's the flourless chocolate cake from our Catering department and it's like eating fudge it is THE BEST)

ALSO sorry real quick cause I just saw this and thought it was cute

I bought something off the Nintendo eStore while I was in Japan so as a result Nintendo still sends me emails in Japanese so

"Erin-sama (!), Happy Birthday! May your smiling faces overflow this year." (Something to that effect lol, just happy I could read all of the first three lines.)
