For my birthday I went to @catfeinecatcafe! This place is the awesome. The first picture is of a kitty who got picked up early. The second is a lucky black cat who is also adopted but I got to pet him as he’s waiting to go home. Then I got to see a bonded pair meet one of their humans! Henry latched onto his mom and she called his dad who said yes to him and his sister Hattie! Mom has filled out their application and now everycat waits for the home visit. Catfeine Cat Cafe partners with local rescues like @rutherfordcountycatrescue to find Forever Homes for kitties. In these times we’re not just having kitten season but folx having to surrender beloved pets due to health or housing issues. But pets are an excellent way to help stay healthy during stressful times. They lower your blood pressure. They give you a reason to get up in the morning. They love you when everything else seems like it’s falling apart. I don’t know where I’m going tomorrow but just one hour sitting with cats purring has made such a difference in how I feel. We need to be more life affirming. We need to educate about pets and pet care. Ummm how’d I get up on this soapbox? Oh I also got this amazing soft shirt with their Covid logo!!
