You've got me craving custard creams now!
I am also partial to a bourbon, but those depend on the brand a bit more.
Bourbons are very hit and miss I agree, sometimes they’re fine and other times it’s like eating pure cocoa powder lol

Go on. Horrify the masses with your Jaffa cake opinion.
It's not an opinion. Jaffa cakes are legally classified as a cake for tax purposes.
Still people go on and on in their wrongness...
Much like on the issue that has been clearly resolved by McVities themselves — the chocolate is on the bottom. 🤷♂️
the issue with lurking, friends, is that not only does it consequently make your favourite creator stop producing the content you like and wish to see more of, it also turns the dashboard 'dead' as a result.
you reblog stuff not just to boost it, but also to share it. to keep the post alive and moving, which is the entire point of tumblr - sharing content, keeping it alive and moving for others to see.
for example, i reblog a fanart/fic from like 2021 and watch as the post starts to gain traction again because i've put it on other people's dashboards and they're interacting with it once more. everyone is happy; you've seen art/stories you enjoy, the creator got recognition for it, the algorithm boosted the post.
engagement in a click of a button, that's literally it. people calling creators entitled for wanting that, should really sit down and think about how long it takes those creators to produce the content in the first place and how much effort they put into it...... thank you.
Biscuit Discourse: There are two types of American biscuit
So, something that floated into my brain in the middle of the night last night is that the USA has two types of biscuit - neither of which is anything like the British biscuit. Because this debate needs to be more confusing, obviously.
We have the crumbly biscuit, and the flaky biscuit.
The crumbly biscuit is the Red Lobster cheese biscuit. If you pick up this biscuit and try to pull it apart, you're likely to end up with a pile of crumbs. These biscuits don't require any kneading or folding; you just plop the dough down straight on the baking pan and cook them.
The flaky biscuit is more commonly known as the buttermilk biscuit. If you pull apart a flaky biscuit, it comes apart in clean horizontal layers. These biscuits are made with cold butter, then folded multiple times to create the layers, then cut into (usually) round biscuits before baking.
Sajdd I think I'm currently in purgatory with all this British vs American biscuit kettle discourse
not my fault youre american

i spy biscuit discourse and just have to add that bourbons are undeniably the best biscuit to exist
